For over twenty-five years LCI has had the pleasure of welcoming students from all over the world, students who came in search of something special.

LCI is a special place located in one of the most friendly and beautiful countries in the world.
Description
The school is situated in the centre of this historic and cultural city and occupies a prestigious building in Dublin's fashionable central district.

Our headquarters building in Kildare Street has been carefully upgraded to provide comfortable classrooms, a language laboratory and video facilities. Here you will also find our self study area which is specially stocked with a comprehensive range of study materials.

LCI receives students from all over the world. The school is open throughout the year except for two weeks in December. Students should be at least 18 years of age, may join a course on any Monday. Classes are composed of students of different nationalities who are grouped according to their level of English. Classes do not exceed 14 students and more usually have 8-12 students. A new student joining the group will quickly get to know his or her fellow students and become familiar with the work of the class.

On arrival at LCI, students are given a placement test and following an interview are placed in a class at the appropriate level and may usually begin their course straight away. Courses are held at Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate and advanced levels. Within each level there may be two or three different classes thus allowing plenty of flexibility.
Location
The country offers you, the foreign student, a unique experience. Situated in the north-west of Europe it is acccessible by air from all major European cities and is the gateway for travellers from the Americas. An island only 486 km. long by 275 km. wide, with a population of only 4 million people, it is a paradise for the tourist who enjoys a motoring or hiking holiday, with uncrowded roads offering a variety of beautiful scenery - mountains, lakes, a rugged coastline and green fertile plains.
