Very homely. Not a sprawling hotel just a very good upmarket public house with a very good restaurant serving a very good breakfast. Single rooms are clean and tidy but very small however more than suitable for a overnight stay prior to flying out of the airport a few minutes away. I have stayed there previously and will continue to use the Hawthorn in future. No complaints at all.
It is a hotel with the essentials eg. rooms, food etc, being well maintaained and of good quality. The service was very efficient especially for breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning. The only problem is that hotel does not have car parking facilities
the staff wasn't too friendly... One of the bartenders was pretty snobby when I first arrived with my luggage...
Staff were really nice and helpful. Rooms were basic but were suffice for my needs.
The rooms are pretty basic, but the bar and staff are very friendly. The location is excellent as it is in the centre of Swords main street. The street has several bars and restaurants
All the staff at the hotel were very helpful once thanks to all at the Hawthorn.
Although quite basic accomodation, the rooms were clean, service was attentive, the food was of good quality and well prepared:the hotel is in the centre of Swords so handy for all amenities - easy access to Dublin.
We had a pleasant stay in a nice hotel.
The Hawthorn Hotel was really nice and the staff were both friendly and very helpful!! All in all great value for money and the whole group enjoyed our stay there.
Nice place just outside of Dublin. A bit loud on the weekends because of the restaurant/bar, but overall pleased with the place.
I found the staff most willing to be of assistance in any way. The location makes it ideal for visiting various parts of the city either on foot or by public transportation.
No problems it's perfect!
Happy with everything overall, we would recommend the Hawthorn Hotel and will also stay there again in future.
Great place to stay--lively pub and charming staff.
