Ratings above are based on what I would expect from a 3* hotel - so for example , facilites in a 3 star hotel I would rate it 3 out of 5. Room was purely functional and met my need. In general the interior of the rooms are shabby and could do with a revamp.
Very clean, nice rooms. The staff was impecable and very helpfull. Will definately stay there again if we go back.
the receptionist was not convinced i had already paid a deposit and i had to embarrasingly point this out where upon she checked it out and then believed me. the room was in the block beside the hotel and was very very noisy, my company is having its xmas party there and a lot of people are staying over, id i had anything to do with it, i wouldent reccomend it. on the other hand, it was v cheap at 49€. they also obliged me when i asked for the heatto be turned off, so it wasent all bad.
Got free upgrade, very impressed. Friendly and helpful staff. Sorry I wasn't staying longer than one night on this occasion so there was nothing I didn't like on this short stay.

The lights in the room werent working but as it didnt bother me too much i did not inform the staff.

Well located for tourist activities in Dublin. Only negative was that the staff didnt know how to get to to the ferry terminal via car and there was no parking available at the premises which meant using public packing that cost oover 30 euros per day.
We had a fantastic weekend staying at the Harcourt Hotel. The hotel itself and rooms were very well kept and clean and the staff were excellent.A lively location just a short walk to Grafton Street.
everything was fine EXCEPT our room,on first floor, was right beside their disco which played till after 3am. the room was very warm but couldnt leave window open because of noise from disco and some sort of machine outside our room. people should be told when booking that they have a disco and noise will be an issue. it certainly would not suit people with kids or the elderly or someone on a business trip.
