It was a great place to stay! I had read some bad reviews on trip advisor about the 'noise' level at night so I do think that it may be helpful to some if you address that circumstance up front. We didn't go into the bar, but it looked great and we expected to hear noise from people and the music. We did hear the music (but it was GREAT music!) and we didn't hear any noise from people, so we thought the stay was wonderful!

There is a good club downstairs where you can spend a great night! Not recommendable if you can't sleep with noise though...

It was nice and clean but doesn't really say on the website about the new part of the hotel not actually joined to the main hotel. Would have liked the choice of which part we stayed in.

A very nice hotel situated just a few minutes walk from the city centre giving you the option of joining the hustle and bustle of the lively Dublin streets or staying in or around the hotel to visit the local park and shops or sampling the Guinness or other beers in the traditional bar incorporated in the hotel. The only down point i could find with this hotel is that although they may be handyly situated directly outside the hotel entrance the sound of trams rumbling past the bedroom window early in the morning and in the evening can become slightly annoying.

Very pleased with staff. Allowed us to leave our baggage before the room was ready (we travelled into Dublin from the States). Very comfortable room and quiet after a long flight. Good location by Trinity and the center of Dublin.

As a chef with 20+ years in the hotel industry I realize that it is the staff that makes a hotel. The staff at the Harcourt treated my girlfriend and I like family, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the dublin area.

A central Hotel in a good area of Dublin. I stayed a couple of nights early in the week [Monday and Tuesday] My only complaint would be about noise in the form of loud conversation and laughter from other guests returning in the early hours of the morning.
