For a truly spooky fun filled Halloween experience the Hallowfest is a must to visit. All members of the family are guaranteed lots of laughs and quite possibly a few screams along the way!! The weekend is full of fun activities that are sure to keep the whole family entertained. South County Dublin becomes a sea of colours when you combine the many different fancy dress and traditional costumes added to the amazing fireworks display that lights up the skies above.

Fireworks Display, Ghostbus where you can listen to some spooky stories, Face Painting, Story Time, Spooky Treasure Hunt and a Street Party with Halloween fancy dress and traditional dress.

The festival is held anually on the Sunday and Monday of the October Bank Holiday weekend.

Part of the weekends festivities are held in The Hell Fire Club in Forest Park. What a great location to be in on Halloween!! The Hell Fire Club is a derilict old passage tomb situated at the top of a hill in a Forest Park. It is even rumoured that the Devil himself has been spotted there on occasion!! You will be treated to spectacular views over Dublin from the top of the hill.
There is a free park 'n' ride srevice provided from South Dublin County Council Car Park going to and from The Hell Fire Club. Contact festival office for full details.
By car: From Junction 11 of the M50 follow signs for tallaght, Blessington N81,following the signs for the Hospital passing tallaght Village, turn right at the lights at Tallaght Shopping Centre signposted hospital, at the 3rd set of lights turn right, at rounanout (hospital entrance on left) take 3rd exit, car park nearby.

By Bus: From Eden Quay near O Connell Street take the 49, 49A, 50, 54A, 65, 65C, 77 & 77A.
               From Dun Laoghaire take the 75, from Ballyfermot take the 76 & from Blanchardstown take the 76A.

By Luas: Take the Red Line from Connolly Station, the Tallaght stop is beside Library Place.
