To mark the 250th anniversary of the death of Handel and the 250 years since Arthur Guinness signed the lease on the world famoust St. James's Gate brewery, Opera Theatre Company have joined forces with Guinness Storehouse to present a unique performance of Handel's opera, Acis and Galatea. For one night only, opera lovers will have a rare opportunity to enjoy this beautiful and moving opera in the majestic setting of the Guinness Storehouse in the St. James's Gate brewery, Dublin.

Love, lust and revenge reign in Opera Theatre Company's site-specific production of the wonderful Acis and Galatea. Beautiful Galatea is blissfully happy with her handsome lover Acis, but the brutal giant Polyphemus is determined to destroy their relationship and win her for himself.

Acis and Galatea is staged as part of the Dublin Handel Festival 2009.
