We didn't think it was a very friendly hotel. The facilities were minimal and the atmosphere was not quite right. We only had breakfast at the hotel and the quality of it was excellent.

As we only stayed one night we did not get a chance to avail of all the facilities on offer so I'm not in a position to commenton them. We did not encounter any problems. The hotel is maintained to a very high standard. The staff we dealt with at check-in, breakfast and check-out were very friendly and professional and very well turned out.
We had a great time at the Grand Hotel. We were there for a function which was brilliant. The meal was fab, the staff were lovely and all went off really well. The reception staff were also very nice and as we only stayed one night we didn't really meet any other staff members. Our room was nice, very clean and comfortable.
Unfortunately the hotel reception was in the middle of being decorated so downstairs wasn't at its best, other than that the hotel was fine.
The hotel was beautiful and staff helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful view from our room over the harbour and bay. Evening meal was lovely even though it was a busy time of year.
