Take N1 from Dublin. Proceed north past 3 roundabouts. At the 4th roundabout take the 3rd exit for Malahide. Proceed to T-junction, turn left, and The Grand Hotel Malahide is 1km ahead.

This historic hotel was built in 1835 by a member of the British Parliament at the time, Mr. James Fagan and was called the 'Royal Hotel'. The establishment of a train connection to Malahide had a huge impact on the popularity of the hotel.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at The Grand with our 20 month old son. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. Our room had plenty of space which we needed around the travel cot which was set up for our arrival. We all loved the breakfasts and enjoyed the views across the marina from our table. There are also excellent leisure facilities for all the family.
