Established 1976 This is a parkland course set in the foothills of the Dublin mountains and overlooking Dublin city, with spectacular views of the surrounding city and countryside. The course is a good test of golf with the front nine holes relatively flat and the back nine relatively hilly. The club has a very good reputation for hospitality and there are two full-size snooker tables. The restaurant is situated to take in the full view of Dublin, which is a spectacular sight at night....

The club was founded in 1910 and the course redesigned in 1919 to a revised design by Harry Colt - largely the same design exists today. A parkland course situated 7 miles from Dublin and 3/4 mile from Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port. Although the course is not long, many holes require careful club selection....
