very pleasant staff but seemed to know little about the area ie we wanted to know if the road outside was one way as we had to plan our route to the airport to leave very early in the morning, they couldn't tell us. Their English was ok but didn't undersatnd readily what we were asking, I think the position would have been filled better by a Dubliner not a foreign national.
It was not the cleanest hotel i've been in but for the money you had good value. The location is just perfect and i will go back there again.
Hotel was very good, clean and modern rooms with coffee and tea making facilities. Unfortunately no breakfast, but there are many restaurants etc near the hotel. Hotel is near public transport (LUAS ans busses : Abbey Street, O Connell Street)and Irish Rail/DART : Tara Street.
The Hotel was so central...perfect for nightlife and also for a weekend shopping trip!! i will definitely stay there again.
It is very central and ideal for shopping and touring. it is in a lively area for night entertainment. Very easy to reach from houston train station. An old hotel as most hotels in dublin city. I Would stay there again
nice hotel, good location. rooms clean and tidy, no breakfast available though and didnt see a hotel bar/ restaurant!
Professional service, good value for the money.
The rooms need updating, hair dryer set on fire, other then that it was a great location, overpriced though
Friendly and comfortable, lovely place to stay, even for just a short visit.
I booked on line at short notice and the area was what I wanted but would have preferred facilities at the actual hotel I was staying in rather than an adjacent hotel. Partly my fault for leaving it so late to book. Reception staff the only ones I had contact with and they were very pleasant.
I was in the twin room 301. The room was lovely. It was fresh, modern & clean. Breakfast was an extensive selection. Overall extreamly good value for money. Others were in room 210, these could benefit from modernising.
