The Fitzpatrick Castle Dublin Hotel is located at the top of Killiney Hill overlooking the bay opposite Howth Head. The property is a mere 14 kms from the city centre, and also easily accessible from both the airport and Dun Laoghaire ferry port by bus. The DART station is only a 10 minute walk away.

The National Maritime Museum, housing many of the artefacts of Irish maritime heritage, is situated in Mariner’s Corner. One of Ireland’s most famous writers, James Joyce, has a museum dedicated to him in the James Joyce Tower. Killiney Hill Park has a nature trail that offers some splendid views of the bay.
