The 18th Century Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel Dublin in Killiney, is a model of charm and sophistication. It is the only hotel on the South Dublin coast overlooking Dublin Bay. Located in the suburbs of Killiney and Dalkey, you are close to the city with easy access on the DART line, but far enough away to not get swamped with the hustle and bustle.

The property is a mere 14 kms from the city centre, and also easily accessible from both the airport and Dun Laoghaire ferry port by bus. The DART station is only a 10 minute walk away.

Killiney Hill Park has a nature trail that offers some splendid views of the bay.
Marlay Craft Courtyard, a 17th century courtyard that has been renovated and houses a fine range of craft workers with their handcrafted baubles, is set in the scenic grounds of Marlay Park.

Lovely old world charm to this hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant was excellent with a great wine selection. The breakfast selection was great. It would be possible to go there for a couple of days and not leave the hotel. The gym and pool (20m) were top class. If like us you have a young child that needs a travel cot some of the double rooms are too small, so we upgraded for a little extra. We will be returning for another stay asap.

Room wasn't ready until 5pm which was a bit annoying, but otherwise the whole experience was fantastic - fabulous room with all amenities, far exceeded my expectations. Staff were lovely and breakfast was divine. My wife said she felt like a princess!
