It is the annual event in the capital of Fingal, when people of all ages come and let their hair down. There is music, song and dance, a parade, magicians, magic, art, heritage, sport, bonnie babies to senior citizens events. Week long celebration of heritage, arts, culture with events to suit all ages. Main event Festival Street Carnival Sunday which included a historical re-enactment in Swords Castle. The South Docks Festival is organised by the Communities of City Quay and Westland Row. This year the festival will run from 21th - 25th July and will include a street party on 20th July and a Parade on Friday 25th July from Perase Street to Merrion Square.
Visitors are welcome and will enjoy the on street entertainment. Other events are organised for local elderly people and local children.
