Diversions Festival 2008

This must be the largest and longest free outdoor event on the Irish calendar. All the open spaces of Temple Bar will be filled with the best in entertainment such as Market Square with its huge screen display any of a series of Oscar winning movies from the last 15 year. There is also the Irish Short Film award with a cash prise for the winner that should encourage any budding movie makers....

South Docks Festival
Saint Andrew's Resource Centre, Pearse Street Park, Merrion Square, Dublin 2, Dublin
The South Docks Festival is organised by the Communities of City Quay and Westland Row. This year the festival will run from 21th - 25th July and will include a street party on 20th July and a Parade on Friday 25th July from Perase Street to Merrion Square.
Visitors are welcome and will enjoy the on street entertainment. Other events are organised for local elderly people and local children.
