This ecstatic dance and movement meditation practice is energising, invigorating and liberating. Embodiment and self expression through free movement and dance. Learn to loosen tensions, release stress and move deeper into yourself.
There are no steps to learn, just a full encouragement of each persons particular dance and an invitation to be present. The weekly classes and workshops are open to all who have a desire to dance and move. Everyone is welcome regardless of fitness level, age and dance experience. Beginners are welcome.
Established by David Mooney BA Hons, Embodiment, offers weekly classes, on-going groups and workshops in free movement and dance. The practice is a chance to dance, an opportunity to move freely, to embody, to express and release in movement and awareness. Through the music and guided facilitations you are invited into authentic movement. The foundations of the practice are based on straightforward, simple principles:
Through learning to reconnect with our body, inviting breathe, intention, awareness and the alchemy of movement, we are inviting acceptance, expression, release, transformation and integration. In the dance we explore the vast landscape of ourselves in movement, in relation to self, others and the wider group.
