Now in its 7th year, the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF) is one of the most forward-thinking events of its kind in Ireland's cultural calendar. Independently-run by veteran Irish music label D1 Recordings, DEAF typically takes place on the October bank Holiday weekend, with related events and projects ongoing throughout the year. The founding principles upon which the festival is based are: to focus on the experimental, and to promote an ethic of genuine inclusiveness in our approach to showcasing electronic art to new audiences.

For  2008, the festival will go back to it's roots incoperaring Irish and Interational acts, which will provide live and electronic music, DJs, animation, workshops and much more.
The Festival is running from Wedensday 22nd of October to Monday the 27th of October 2008.
