Horse riding involves balance. A young horse has to learn how to carry, or balance, a rider. The better a rider's balance is in tune with the horse's movement, the better the horse will go, and the more comfortable the ride.

Description
Calliaghstown Riding Centre is situated in a rural setting, within easy reach of Dublin, and provides the ideal atmosphere for a quiet and scenic riding holiday in the forests and mountains of Wicklow. The centre's indoor and outdoor facilities provide comfortable all-weather conditions for both beginners and the more experienced rider. A speciality at the centre are tuition holidays for adults or unaccompanied children. The centre also offers qualified instruction in dressage, show jumping and cross country.
No matter what aspect of riding you choose, you can be sure of safe, quality horses, many of which were bred at the centre by its owner Grainne Sugars, who has ridden internationally for Ireland.
