The cottage is beautifully decorated with style and comfort in mind. It also has a garden for guest use where you can spend their afternoons relaxing.
At Bohernabreena Cottage the best of both worlds can be enjoyed, relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of this peaceful idyllic mountainous retreat, yet you are only 16km for the vibrant city centre. While located within 4km from junction 12 on the M50 motorway, your own transport is essential.
Directions
Follow directions for City Centre
Take M1 for City Centre
Take 1st exit off M1 to left for M50 (Southbound)
Travel through toll bridge (Eur 1.90 for cars)
4th exit after Toll bridge leave M50 at Exit 12 for Firhouse /Ballycullen
Turn right onto Firhouse / Ballycullen Rd (R113) for Tallaght
Take R114 for Bohernabreena
Turn Left at sign for Bohernabreena Cemetery
Up steep hill take 1st right after church for Glenasmole
Drive past little National School (on left) take next right for Castlekelly
Property on right at next junction Granite (stone) Cottage
The Place name CUNARD is engraved on a stone directly opposite the cottage
Electric gates code = 4321.
Rooms
The cottage provides luxury accommodation with exceptional attention to detail and this is apparent in the 2 bedrooms of the cottage. Both bedrooms are bright and airy with pine beds, the largest bedroom with a double and single bed has en-suite facilities and the second has a double bed.
For guests convenience high quality linen, bedclothes and towels are supplied free of charge, as are detergents and toiletries.
Facilities
Bohernabreena Cottage is tastefully decorated to a very high standard, which can be seen throughout the house. The traditional pine kitchen with high ceiling contains a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all cooking utensils. A nice touch is the reusable shopping bags left by the owners to save guests from paying the plastic bag tax.
The lounge has a comfy settee, fire burner, TV and DVD player, this is a great place to relax in the evening. The owners of this cottage have put a lot of thought and care to ensure their guests have the most enjoyable stay possible, other little extras of the cottage include a Welcome to Dublin DVD, reading material for adults and board games for children.
Outside is a private patio area with garden furniture and is a wonderful setting for a barbeque on a warm summers evening. The rest of the garden is beautifully landscaped with panoramic views of the Dublin mountains, running adjacent to the cottage is a local steam, adding to the peace and harmony of the garden.
The cottage is very secure with electronic gates and private parking also.
