Thursday, 20th September 6.00-8.00pm
Filmbase, Temple Bar, Dublin 2
Exhibition continues at Blue Leaf Gallery
21st September – 4th October 2007

Blue Leaf Gallery is proud to present the first solo exhibition in Ireland of paintings by Cardiff-based artist Emrys Williams. Comprised of 30 paintings, the collection has been inspired in part by Williams’ six-week residency at the Dalkey Heritage Centre in 2005. Through seashore imagery Williams explores parallels between subjective experience and memory with elements of the village of Dalkey, Dalkey Island and the Wicklow Mountains. Additional paintings explore illusion through misplaced objects and altered scale.<
