Fabulous location, close to Temple Bar yet not too close. Weekend a bit noisy in the bar and halls, but I expected that especially as it was the all-Ireland final weekend. Windows blocked the noise just fine. It is the first place I would look to on my next trip to Dublin.
We really liked that there was wi fi available (for free!), and that, although much entertainment was offered in the hotel each night, and that it was a busy street, our room was quiet and unaffected by any of this. Had some minor trouble on arriving as they had no record of our reservation through yourselves. Issue was addressed by staff of hotel.
The staff in the dining area was particularly friendly and pleasant.
Great location, difficult to book table for dinner due to being available to general public. Should be priority for residents as we couldn't even get in the bar at night and had to go elsewhere.
Staff very friendly and helpful. They were able to provide vegetarian option for breakfast, but unfortunately not on the first day as it was unclear that we would need to ask in advance. Would certainly stay there again and recommend them to others.
My wife and I really like Arlington Hotel. It is reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly. The food for breakfast was superb, and the staff here are watchful, gracious, and very accommodating. I was impressed with their being willing to be of any assistance. It was particularly good to meet a fellow Canadian at the front desk. You have chosen well! We have no hesitation to recommend Arlington to anyone. We will recommend the hotel. John and Lorraine.
We thought the service & staff were lovely and would recomend the arlington to other people.
Breakfast staff very friendly , but cant say the rest of staff where . Asked for quiet room got one over the bar! asked to move and was given one on 4th floor overlooking aircon units , room very warm but couldnt leave window open as it was too noisy! Rooms have been decorated but bathrooms need attention .
I liked the location, the helpful freindly staff, the big and comfortable room with tea/coffee facilities. I did not like: the window that could be opened only by a crack with very little fresh air coming in. the constant noise from the ventilation system machines that are located in the hotel backyard. with an open window, the noise bothered us, when we closed the window, the room was hot (and it was only mid-may). of course there was nothing anyone could do at that moment, but there is room for improvement in the fiture (ceiling fan perhaps?)
Everyone was so friendly and helpful.... especially the woman who greeted us each morning at breakfast. Great location. Central to everything, but away from hustle and bustle of Temple Bar. Rooms were quiet at night.
I have been at the Arlington before on several occasions and still think it is the best hotel for service and locality.
Very nice design on the inside (rooms, reception area, restaurant).
Very positive, parking was a bit of a squeeze but the porter was very helpful.
The staff were excellent - they could not do enough for us. I will recommend your Hotel to family and friends.
Arlington was lovely to stay in except for the car park too small. Also builders were hammering away early the next morning outside our room not good if you've got a sore head.
We both enjoyed our stay at the Arlington and found it very central to everywhere. My now fiancee proposed in the Hotel whilst on our stay and it was perfect!!
I thought the Arlington gave very good value for money, my travel partner has a disability and the staff were very helpful especially the very tollerant porter. We had a very enjoyable stay.
It was very convenient being in the city centre.
