The location was excellent, and despite being in the city centre it wasn't too noisy

The hotel room was comfortable and clean however the noise levels in the room was high from the traffick on Dame St. due to the fact the windows are not sealed. The staff were great, very friendly and courteous. Overall good value for money but I would not stay there if you need a good nights sleep.

The only thing wrong was the location, our room was right on the front of the hotel overlooking the main thoroughfare so it was very noisy. I tried to change the room to one at the back but they were fully booked.

Entrance from back-street difficult, not as presented online. When bad overhead bathroom plumbing drenched our bathroom and soaked our carpet, the staff was hamstrung; adjusted our bill, but pinchingly; admitted that resale delays had the place run down, musky, stained, old worn tubs, etc. Very kind people, but too NY-of-Ireland funk for a family accomodation.

In general, I was very pleased with the Adams Trinity ... location is very central; night porter / receptionist was extremely helpful when a tired and somewhat dazed traveller arrived from the airport at 1 a.m.; room was pleasant and welcoming; bed very (perhaps too!) comfortable. One small suggestion: dish covers for room service, to help keep food warm. :)

The Adams Trinity Hotel was wonderful and when we visit Dublin again we will certainly stay there. The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautifully decorated and offered all the facilities we required. The hotel is perfectly positioned for both sightseeing and 'partying'. We had a brilliant time.

The staff in the reception were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast, however, was really bad, both in quality and servicing, - we tried to communicate with the staff in the restaurant but they did not understand english very well. For example we tried to order a fried egg but they served scrambled egg... We also would like to complain about the cleaning. The room was not as clean as expected.

The helpfulness of the staff was particularly noticable. I had my teenage son and wanted to sit in the bar on Friday evening, but some members probably of the public were quite drunk, so I did not feel comfortable in the main bar lounge area, just off the reception area. However this did not affect our stay.

The hotel was an excellent central location as we went to Dublin to shop. Staff were very nice. Double glazing windows might prevent some of the noise, but noise is expected at this location so I did not mind too much.

The hotel is right in the heart of all the action in the Temple Bar area. We thought when we made the reservation that we were just back from it. We didn't get any sleep at all due to the street noise from the drunks, the taxis, the honking cars, the loud trucks. If you're young and you don't need any sleep, it would be a great location.
