Just south of Dublin city centre, Rathgar is one of a necklace of beautiful villages that over time have been drawn into the capital. Patricia Leahy, resident host at Abrae Court, provides a personal friendly touch in this relaxing 3* Guesthouse.
Built in 1864, during the early Victorian era, the Guesthouse prides itself in assuring very comfortable accommodation.

There is a comfortable, pleasant breakfast room serving a full Irish breakfast and other cooked items, as well as a full continental buffet.

There is an excellent bus service to the city centre. There are many interesting places close by; antique shops, craft centres, horse riding, greyhound racing and golf courses.
Car hire, services, taxi ranks and trunk roads N4, N7, N11 are all close at hand, giving access to scenic tours of County Wicklow ("the garden of Ireland") taking in Glendalough, Avoca, Woodenbridge and Blessington, as well as easy access to the rest of Ireland.
