Very good value for money ,all the staff are very helpful .
This hotel was very central, very clean & quiet, bed was gorgeous!! Had a great nights sleep, first time ever in a hotel....the shower was great too, first time I'd ever seen a shower with a proper shower hose so I could wash my hair without having to have a full shower or visa versa I could have a shower without having to ruin my hair. Its the little things that count! :) Overall, bearing in mind it is a two star hotel, I was very impressed with this hotel in terms of location and comfort...I will definately be returning, and will recommend it to other also. It was great value too.
The location was brilliant, right beside O'Connell St and Temple Bar District. The receptionists were very helpful. There was a hole in the roof of the breakfast room. The TV was not working properly and the noisy LUAS tram ran on the road of the hotel so best to ask for back room instead of front room, although views of the activities in the street were very enjoyable. If I had not rung to confirm everything was alright a few days before, I would have ended up with a double instead of twin room. The hotel is a bit run down but good value for money.
As cheap as we could find, but surprisingly decent. Loud one night on the weekends, and no a/c so we needed a window, but the hearty breakfast food (provided!) and clean rooms and bathrooms and central location were all positive.
Hiya, we had a brill stay as we were central to everything,Staff were great and very friendly&helpful ENJOYED&HATED CUMING HME Will venture again SOON
Really great service from all members of staff
I could park my car for 24 hrs this is a great advantage.
Its OK.
good location and they had car parking facilities
Entrance to the hotel needs to be more pleasing. although the checking time was 2.00pm,as we arrived bit earliar ,we were accommodated into our room before 1.00pm which we appreciated. The adverse comments is that there was smell of cigrettes smell in the corridor of the rooms. this could be due to inadequate air circulation. However , we enjoyed our stay in the hotel.
Good location, friendly staff, really good food and cheap beer, good facilities, lovely breakfast and a bargain price!!
As the Hotel didn't look much from the outside and the check in area was small and narrow I was very supprised as the rest of the Hotel was very spacious. The rooms were clean and of average size.Overall I found it excellent value for money in the heart of Dublin and would recomend it.
For a hotel within spitting distance of Temple Bar we weren't expecting much, but Abbey Hotel is a basic but clean and very friendly place. Breakfast was excellent, the bar staff (and the regulars!) were very chatty and helpful. Will definitely book there again.
Very pleased with my stay, excellent price for the location in central Dublin, would definately stay again!!
Basic accommodation but clean and good value for money.
A cheap hotel but the room was clean, very important, with good standard. The hotel reception was simple but the staff was nice and helpfully. The hotel was very central but we were grateful that it was a distance from Trinity area.
Value for money and central to everything (walking distance) - nearly. It was a bit noisy late evenings because of all smokers who came out from the pub below to smoke.
It's a very nice hotel, situated in the city centre, just five minutes walk from Temple Bar. It's quite cheap but the rooms are clean and safe and the breakfast is good.
The hotel was good value for money. It is centrally situated which made it easy for sightseeing. We would certainly stay at the Abbey should we visit Dublin again.
Good centrally located budget hotel.
Good central hotel perfect for a one night stay in Dublin City Centre. It was perfect for my needs, breakfast was good, room was clean and staff were very helpful. It was excellent value for money.
