This is the longest of the walks but for the energetic walker, it is well worth the effort as the vista changes with every kilometer. The car park is a good place to start (at Knockamany) but before setting off, have a look at all the interesting points and fine views around. Start to the left of the Cross Road Inn, past the Radio Station and continue up the hill where you will overlook White Strand Bay and Culoort Village. Continue on and you will come to Ireland’s most northerly point, marked off a road on the left. The view from here is worth the detour. Out to sea is Inishtrahull Island. This walk is the easiest of the three walks. Start at Seaview Tavern which overlooks Sandport and the Pier. Continue on up the hill until you come to a branch in the road. Although your walk will keep you on the right road it would be worth your while taking a few minutes off to the left to investigate the Wee House of Malin, and old church in scenic surroundings.
