The Gap Lodge is a spacious and smart guesthouse offering B&B accommodation at historic Donegal Town, in County Donegal.
Modern and attractively decorated, The Gap Lodge benefits from an excellent location amidst the eye catching lakes and mountains of the locality, and there’s a pleasant garden area where you can enjoy the scenery and the fresh air. There’s also angling equipment on the premises making it ideal if you want to go fishing.
Fully heated and equipped with en suite rooms with televisions and tea making as standard, The Gap Lodge is a family orientated establishment and caters extensively for children.

The Gap Lodge Bed and Breakfast is just 10 minutes drive from Donegal Town on N15.

Description

Your host, Sile, has a tourist industry background with some 20 years experience and her breakfast menu is much appreciated by her guests. (Dietary needs are catered for).  Pets welcome outside and there’s a private car park.
The Gap Lodge is in a great location for touring Donegal, close to the sea and the various windswept landscapes that make the region so attractive. Donegal Town is a historic, lively town where the craic is good and bars and restaurants earn their excellent reputation.

We stayed a week and it was 10 out of 10 great. A perfect base for setting out each day to see the beautiful countryside of Donegal. Located just 10km out the road from Donegal Town, in a picturesque gap between hills. Very child friendly and Sile made us feel most welcome, the breakfasts were grade A and set us up for the day. I have already recommended The Gap Lodge B&B to friends!
