Donegal
If you would like to experience living on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, then look no further. St. Johns Point is one of Irelands best kept secrets.
Teachin Na Mara
boasts stunning views of the ever changing sea. Why not relax in luxury and watch the Killybegs fishing fleet come and go. This beautiful property offers the very best in

It is just 25 meters from the house to the rocky shoreline of the Atlantic and less than five minutes drive to a beautiful sandy beach and lighthouse. Many people return to Teachin Na Mara annually, in hope to catch a glimpse of the school dolphins, which regularly perform in front of the house. Whether you require a peaceful haven or an action packed adventure, you won’t be disappointed.

St. Johns Point is one of Ireland’s longest peninsulas, at six miles long. It leads to a beautiful, safe, sandy beach and a lighthouse. Our house is situated half way down the point and the name is above the front door. On the point road you pass, the award winning restaurant and bar, Castle Murray House Hotel and a small thatched Weavers Cottage which is still in use today. From Donegal Town, take the N56, by-pass Mountcharles, go through Dunkineely and take the next left for the point road, which is sign posted, follow this road for three miles and Teachin Na Mara is on the left.... If you are to continue on the N56 towards Killybegs, you will pass through Bruckless, a tiny village, with a general store, petrol and Catholic Church. A further five minutes drive finds you in Killybegs, the largest port in Ireland. Comprehensive information folder can be found at the house (details of restaurants, entertainment, maps and general information on the area and the tourist attractions)
Rooms
The house is a romantic blend of the rustic and the ultra modern, combining traditional design and luxury comforts. The sitting room, which has windows on three walls, is bright and cozy with a large brick fire place and a pot-belly-stove.
The oak kitchen and integrated appliances surround the large table. The main bathroom has a bath and electric shower cubicle and of the four bed-rooms, one is en-suite. An added bonus is the cloakroom/WC. Stenciled wooden floors throughout with quality linen and pine furnishings.
Facilities
Central heating throughout with a pot-belly-stove. Beautiful kitchen, with integrated appliances (dishwasher, fridge and freezer), electric oven, ceramic hob, micro-wave and coffee machine.
