It is a pleasure to welcome you to Sandfield Cottage.   Sandfield is a 3 star self-catering cottage set on it’s own grounds, on a small working farm with wonderful sea and mountain views located in a very beautiful scenic part of Donegal.

This cottage has 3 bedrooms, kitchen/livingroom, sitting-room, bathroom, separate toilet and spacious bright entrance hall.

The cottage is very well equipped for an enjoyable and relaxing break for up to 5 people. It is ideally located for touring the North West or for those interested in walking, cycling, angling, mountain climbing, water sports, bird watching, golfing or just lazing around enjoying the fresh, unpolluted air in Donegal. This cottage once a family home is ideal for that summer or winter break.

Description
Sanfield Cottage is only 5km from Ardara Heritage Town on Portnoo Road. Convenient to blue flag beach. Suitable location for angling, walking, mountain climbing, golfing, touring.

TO FIND BEAGH COTTAGE
From Ardara follow the R261 for approx 6kms. “SANDFIELD” is first house on left hand side just after entrance to Pitch & Putt.

Bus :The nearest bus station is in Ardara which is 5 km. This bus station is served by Bus Eireann & Mc Geehan Coaches.  One can travel from here to Dublin, Galway, Letterkenny or shorter trips eg Donegal, Dungloe, Glenties or Kllybegs.

Airport: Donegal airport is approx. 40 kms. With bigger airports at Derry, Belfast, Knock, Dublin & Shannon.
Ferryport: Larne and Belfast is approx @.5 hours drive. Dublin 4 hours drive.

Taxis: Ardara is well served by taxis day and night.
Bicycle Hire : Bicycles are available to hire in Ardara on a daily or weekly basis.

There are 3 bedrooms 2 doulbes and one single, all are spacious, carpeted and tastefully decorated.

The sitting room is furnished with a modern leather suite of furniture, carpeted, Connemara marble fire-place with electric fire, colout TV, DVD, Radio , CD player, rocking chair and occasional tables.

The kitchen/diner has a fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and all necessary utensils for preparing, cooking and serving meals.

The main bathroom ha a bath, electric shower, toilet and washbasin. Separate toilet and wash basin at rear entrance.

All rooms are located on ground floor with oil central heating, energy efficient lighting and are maintained to a very high  standard.
