As you approach Letterkenny from Derry/Sligo or N13 or Lifford N14 the first junction that you encounter is the "Dry Arch" roundabout. Travelling from Derry or Lifford you should continue straight through this roundabout; from Sligo you should turn left. Travel 1.5km farther to the next junction, Neil Blaney roundabout, and turn right onto the R245 for villages Milford, Downings and Ramelton.Travel this route for 5km and turn left at the Fingerpost indicating Rinneen Country Home. A landmark for the upcoming Fingerpost Sign is a School Sign with two amber coloured lights. From this left turn it is 1.2km to our home. There is a location sign at our home.
When approaching Letterkenny from the town/village Dungloe/Glenties on route R250 or Dunfanaghy/Creeslough /Kilmacrennan on N56, the simplest advice is to: follow directional signs for Derry,Dublin,Lifford or Sligo. All of these will bring you to Neil Blaney roundabout and from there take the R245 as outlined above.

Our home is on an elevated site but nestles beneath the prominent hill named "Knockybrin". While the summit is not accessable to visitors there is a pleasent walkway to its foot from where one has a captivating view of woodland and water. The country roads in the vicinity are relatively free from traffic and are ideal for a stroll in the quiet of the evening. Cattle and sheep graze contently in the fields and song birds fill the air with sweet sounds.
