Welcome to Rinneen Country House Rinneen Country Home, on the outskirts of Letterkenny, County Donegal is located among the idyllic surroundings of hill and woodland which contrast beautifully with a slender view of Lough Swilly. On arrival, guests are greeted heartily with refreshments and a chat. Our genuine hospitality and relaxed atmosphere combine to provide the ideal rural retreat from the stress of modern day living. The central location of our home is an advantage when visiting places of interest in County Donegal and Northern Ireland.

There is an established landmark in Letterkenny, a sculpture called the Polestar. It is positioned on route N13/14 entering the town and is beside the Tourist Information Office.
From this landmark select R245 and travel on this route for 5km and you will arrive at the fingerpost sign for our home. Turn left here and travel 1.2km to our home.

To the south is Letterkenny, the principal town of County Donegal, with a host of fascinating attractions for the visitor. The historian can visit the County Museum, Cathedrial, 17th Century Churches and other historic buildings and sites. For Culture and Entertainment there is An Grianan Theatre, Library and Arts Centre and a host of Pubs and Restaurants. The golfer has the wonderful 18 hole woodland course at Barnhill, just 5km from our home. The historic town of Ramelton is 5km to the north.
Rinneen country house is located on elevated land which characterizes its name. Gaelic spelling Rinnin - means little headline or little point of land).
Our home is a modern family dwelling with 4 bedrooms, 1 lounge room, 1 dining room, open plan kitchen/living room, utility room and bathroom.
Access to wireless broadband is available to guests throughout our home. In the lounge you can relax with the pastime of your choice e.g. reading, radio/tv and music. There are board games and toys to entertain the children.
There are safe and secluded car parking facilities.
We have four bedrooms which are tastefully decorated and have en-suite facilities, one has a bath. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs and two have superb views. The ground floor bedroom has a wonderful view too. Cleanliness throughtout our home is absolutely assured and the quietness should ensure a sound sleep. Room Facilities: No Smoking in Bedrooms, Hair Dryer in Bedrooms, Ironing Facilities on Request.
Our home is on an elevated site but nestles beneath a prominent hill named Knockybrin. While the summit is not accessable to visitors there is a pleasant walkway in the vicinity from where one has a captivating view of woodland and water. The country roads in the vicinity are relatively free from traffic and are ideal for a stroll in the quiet of the evening. Cattle and sheep graze peacefully in the fields and song birds fill the air.

The house and location is ideal as it's close to all amenities, yet quiet and away from main road, with fabulous countryside views. A lovely house and very welcoming.
Rinneen Country Home Guests have access to a comfortable lounge room with TV, radio and CD player. Complimentary refreshments are served to those who like to sit and unwind. The extensive views from the lounge are breathtaking. Traditional Irish and Continental breakfasts are served in the dining room which looks out onto mature gardens. Private and secluded parking is provided for cars and motorcycles. Bicycles are kept indoors overnight.
