All 39 bedrooms at Óstán Loch Altan are en-suite. You can choose from single, double, twin, triple or family rooms all furnished to the highest standard. Each bedroom has a security swipe card, central heating, multi channel T.V., direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Hair dryers, irons and a limited number of free cots are available from reception.
Ionad Cois Locha in Dunlewey (10km) has a theme farm yard and a variety of animals. There is also a traditional weaving loom on display and regular boat trips on the lake. A small theatre relates the history and tradition of the area in film and play.

The room was clean and comfortable. Internet is only available in the crowded lobby with limited power points. Hotel staff will not reply in Irish when addressed in Irish.
Óstán Loch Altan has built up an excellent reputation for the quality of its food. The A La Carte and dinner menus in the Sonas Restaurant always include a seasonal selection of fresh local produce with Atlantic fresh fish dishes a speciality.
