There is a lot to see and do off the rugged west coast of Donegal from fishing, to sight seeing, visitng the islands and diving. Hiring "The Lionnir " from Neil Gallagher Charter Vessels is one way of availing these acitivies.

Neil is an experienced skipper, and has been sailing and angling for years.
For E400 a day (rod and reel included) you can hire out The Loinnir.
These boat trips  take you around old ship wrecks including a wreck from the Spanish Armada and WWII. Trips to the islands can also be included.
 
The trips last the whole day from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

All kind of groups are catered for; angliers, sight-seers, photography groups etc.
There are many species of fish that can be caught , these inculde  Congar Eel, Blue Fin Tuna, Shark and many more.

All of the islands around Donegal have excellent fishing grounds due to the sheltred waters, and fishing can take place reguardless of the weather .
Donegals coast is dotted with islands such as Arranmore,Tory, Gola, Ruthland and Inishfree. They are the perfect place to go walking and for picnics. 

All the island have spectular scenery and sandy beaches - which are ideal for swimming.

The animals and rare bird life is also something that can not be missed, such as the seals. The seals will always be seen resting on rocks.
The Lionnir is also fully equipped to take diving groups, as it has diving ladder, platform and heated cabins.

All the best diving sites around Arranmore are only 10-20 minutes away from Burtonport.
 
The waters around the coast of Donegal are always clear so it's the best place to discover what lies beneath.

The Lionnir will also bring you above the many ship wrecks so you can dive down to see them .

The Lionnir is Failte Ireland approved, and is equipped with modern technology to enhance saftey and navagation.
It has a licence to carry a group of 12 and a crew of 2. It also has a emergency lifecraft that can take up to 16 people. There are also toilet/ changing facilites on board.
