Marble Hill, another of Dunfanagh’s blue flag beaches, is located on the north-west coast of Donegal. Situated in Sheephaven Bay, it is an extensive sandy beach and is home to a lot of varieties of wildlife.
The fun sand dunes have many flowers and bird species – in fact this is one of the last areas in Ireland where you may hear the rare bird, the Corncrake, calling.
Marble Hill is used mainly by the local community and receives large numbers of visitors during peak times.
