The Hotel takes its name from Lough Swilly, known as the Lake of Shadows, the scene of many significant moments in Irish history.

One of the best known hotels in Donegal and longest established hotels in Inishowen. Famous for its cosy atmosphere and fine foods the 'Lake' has proved a popular meeting place for friends and family over many years.
