Located only 10 minutes from Portsalon and Rathmullan, these cottages are situated on an elevated site overlooking Lough Swilly and the Inishowen Peninsula. This is an area of spectacular scenery and fabulous sandy beaches. The property is 5 km from the long, golden strand of Ballymastocker Bay - considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. For hillwalkers, the Knockalla Ridge runs behind the property. The views from the summit are stunning and well worth the hike.

Although Knockalla Coastguard is on the coast the nearest sandy beaches are Warden Strand, and Portsalon Beaches. Rathmullan is 6miles away and has a few good restaurants, good beaches and also runs a ferry service to Buncrana in the Summer months

Description

Built in 1876, these cottages are set in a spectacular landscape with stunning views across the vast expanse of Lough Swilly and the mountains and beaches of the Inishowen Peninsula, with Knockalla Ridge as a backdrop. The cottage has a large garden for visitors to enjoy and is great for games. Private parking available.

Of the four bedrooms, three are double (including one on the ground floor) and one is a twin room. All but one have sea views and the remaining room has views of the Knockalla Mountains. There is a large shower room on the ground floor and a toilet and wash-hand basin on the second floor

4 Bedroom house.  Our 4 bedrooms, 3 are double including one on the ground floor and 1 twin bedroom. With the exception of one all have sea views and the remaining room has views of the Knockalla Mountains. There is a large shower room on the ground floor and a toilet and whb on the second floor

There are many coastal walks from the cottage , the Crosses of Knockalla are pleasant walk and the views are spectacular.
