The Inishowen Gateway Hotel is an elegant, contemporary style 3* hotel beautifully located on the picturesque Inishowen Peninsula in North East Donegal.

The hotel has 79 rooms most of which boast panoramic views of Lough Swilly. The Gateway Health and Fitness Club on site includes a 20 metre deck level pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and a well equipped gym. The Peninsula Restaurant offers excellent a la carte and table d'hote menus only using the freshest produce and bar food is served every day in the Lisfannon Bar. Planet Active is a large play area for children and is open weekends and during school holidays.

The Inishowen Gateway is situated on the shores of Lough Swilly and is convenient to golf courses, the Crana River and the beautiful touring route of the "Inishowen 100" - a scenic 100km drive around the peninsula.

Although the rooms in this hotel are quite dated, they are extremely clean and all the staff are friendly and courteous. As a family with small children, the real bonus in this hotel was the playroom in the basement. This room was excellent for children of all ages with a 2 level soft play area, Wii, pool table, air hockey, table tennis, playhouses, train set, dolls, prams to name but a few! We found this facility invaluable - especially on a wet day! We will definately be back!
