Isaac Butt Heritage Center opened its doors in 1998. The centre looks at the dedicated service that Butt provided for the community of Glenfin. There are also exhibitionsthat looks at the history and heritage of Glenfin. These exhibitions includes looking at the old educational system of Glenfin,it's history dating back as far a the 5th century and more.

Built in the early years of the 19th century, the Courthouse is one of the last survivors in County Donegal of the old style in court building.

A bridewell contains six cells and two day rooms.

The Courthouse now hosts District and Circuit court sittings and biennial sittings of the High Court on Circuit....

Dunfanaghy Workhouse opened in 1845 on the eve of the great famine - one of the greatest disasters ever to affect Ireland. The Workhouse soon proved its worth as people fled there to escape from the distress caused by the failure of their staple food - the potato.

This exhibition recalls the desperate days of the famine period and examines what life was like in the Workhouse.

Lurgyvale Thatched Cottage is a 150 year old thatched cottage with an open hearth fire on a flagged floor. Scones and tea are served daily in an old kitchen. This Visitors Centre tells the story of Grianan Ailigh, an ancient stone ring fort. It's origins date back to the time of myth and legend when it was said to be built by the Dagda, an ancient King of the Tuatha De Danann, in 1700 B.C. The circular ramparts date back as far as 5000 years ago. It later became the Royal Residence of the Ui Neills, overlords of Ulster and High Kings of Ireland, circa 5th Century A.D.
