Gort na Mona B&B is situated just 2km from the heritage town of Ardara, surrounded by wide open spaces, idyllic scenery, and sea and mountain views. We have uncrowded sandy beaches, safe for bathing and surfing. For the angler, we have lake and river fishing, as well as sea fishing charters near at hand.

Above all Ardara is known far and wide for its hospitality and the friendliness of its people, who are ever ready to make you, the visitor feel welcome and at home during your stay.

This beautiful bed and breakfast consists of four comfortable bedrooms which are all ensuite with powershower. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished throughout. All bedrooms within the house have posturepaedic beds, sky tv, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and wireless broadband.

Welcome to Ardara which is a beautiful location for a relaxing break away. Guests can enjoy the tranquil beauty of the landscape with its wide range of forests, country walks and coastal walks. Lake and River fishing is very popular here and there are numerous archaeologoical sites to be explored. Golf and sandy beach can also be enjoyed locally.

Lovely peaceful setting. Very clean and attractively furnished bedroom and en suite, though bedroom a bit crowded with an extra bed when an extra chair would have been useful instead. Great shower. Very friendly owners and excellent breakfast choice. The communal sitting room for guests was not ideally accessible for those in the annex. If we are looking for accommodation in that area again we would definitely try to book Gort na mona.
