Letterkenny is one of the most vibrant towns in Ireland, with an established reputation for friendliness and hospitality. Each three-bedroom town house is fully equipped to the highest standard, and visitors are provided with free secure car parking.

Donegal as a whole is renowned for its unspoilt beauty, world-class Blue Flag beaches and rugged landscapes. The stunning Glenveagh National Park, castle, and numerous scenic walks are all within 30 minutes' drive.  Rathmullan beach is only 15 km away, while well-known Portsalon Blue Flag beach (recently voted the most beautiful beach in the world) is just 30 km away. For the more energetic, Gartan outdoor adventure centre is only 15 minutes' drive away.

The nearest Bus Eireann bus station is a 3-minute walk from the town houses.

Private bus services from the Dublin and Galway also stop here.

 There are no railway lines in County Donegal.  Therefore the nearest train station is at Derry (also known as Londonderry), which is about half an hour’s drive away.
 
There are 2 regional airports serving the North West.  Both have daily services to and from Dublin.  Donegal Airport is circa 50 minutes away.  Derry Airport is 35 minutes away.
 
The nearest port is at Larne, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. The Port of Larne is about 2½ hours drive from Letterkenny.
 
By car, take the national route for Letterkenny.  More detailed directions are provided on confirmation of booking.

Each town house has 3 bedrooms:  Two of the bedrooms are upstairs, along with the main bathroom (bath with overhead shower).  Of the upstairs bedrooms, one is a large double bedroom with en-suite toilet and shower, the other has two single beds.  A downstairs toilet and sink serve the third single bedroom.  Cots can be provided for any of these bedrooms if required.

This spacious living room has a black leather suite, TV, DVD player, coffee table, and leather foot rest for complete relaxation during your stay. There is also a modern kitchen designed to make light work of food preparation. A solid wooden table and chairs complements the kitchen, which is fully equipped with four-ring electric cooker with grill, oven, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle. All utensils, crockery and cutlery are also provided.

Glenveagh Self Catering was ideally located, two minute walk from the town centre, the house itself is spacious and well equiped. It is a safe and secure facility. The only recommendation I would have is to have wifi and perhaps sky tv, as we were travelling with a teenager and younger child it would have been ideal at night time to have these, my teenager thought he had lost his arm with no internet access. We will be returning to stay at Glenveagh Self Catering and would recommend this accommodation.

We provide bed linen, bath and hand towels, tea towels (drying cloths), and a dish cloth.  Face Cloths are not provided. 

Where a cot has been requested, the client must provide the linen for it.  Cots and high chairs can be provided on request at no additional charge. 

As well as the other equipment listed, an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are provided for your use.

Damage Deposit amount for Groups is  €50 per person

Secure parking is available in our multi-storey car park, which is locked from 11 pm to 7 am.  There is also a security guard who does random checks on the complex at weekends.  Our caretaker is also on call 24/7.
