Fisherman Village Lodge is a cluster of traditional Irish cottages. Indulge in the breathtaking sea and mountain views. Here you will find a lounge for guest use with an inviting open turf fire.  Our home is situated on the world famous Atlantic Drive and is in a great location for those of you who would like to dabble in some angling while on holidays. We have a top of the range boat belonging to the house. Unique B&B accommodation, evening meals can be arranged for groups of 6 or more when pre-arranged.

Description

Heather runs the Fisherman’s Village Lodge, set on the spectacular Atlantic Drive, 3 miles north of Downings. Guests have the privacy of the bedrooms in separate cottages, while the dining room and guest lounge with open turf fire are in the main building.  All rooms are en suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities

A fantastic location, with a wonderful view of the sea. Nice to be sleeping away from the main house in a separate cottage. Excellent breakfast.

The area is breathtaking. The lodge rather pleasant but the welcome was icy. Asking for an advice for a place to have diner we were told that "there were lots of places everywhere all around", which was an unfriendly answer but untrue as well, and we had trouble to find something in the neighbourhood, the fishermans village is really isolated on the atlantic drive.
