If you decide to come here in September, the Donegal County Sheep Dog trails take place in Barnesmore on the first Sunday in September each year.  It’s a great day out for all the family.  Travel to Donegal Craft Village and see or even purchase some of the best Irish crafts including jewellery, paintings and ironmongery.Discover the treasures that Donegal have to offer.  All you need to do is hop into your car and drive around the many roads exploring the area and find scenery you would not see anywhere else in Europe.  A 45 minutes journey will take you to Glenveagh National Park where, if you’re lucky, you night come across the red deer herd that have made this haven their home.
