The Creevy Hotel I found to be a lovely cosy place with a friendly staff and atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were cosy and have a great view from them. Overall the Creevy Pier Hotel was definitely value for money and will surely be worth another visit
The room was clean and tidy, the staff were as helpful as they could be but as I seemed to be up earlier than everybody else in the hotel (including the staff) there was no hot water for showers etc! Breakfast did not start till 9 o'clock (but in fairness to the receptionist, he did offer to leave cereal etc. out for me) and the restaurant didn't open during the week for dinner! Also, as the hotel's website was under construction I couldn't find any of this out before I booked the room and was only told all this upon arrival! I would go back to the hotel again but not as a business traveller as it did not cater for my needs in that respect. It would be a lovely break for a weekend away etc. as the setting is lovely and you would be able to eat in the restaurant!!
The reservation never made it to the desk, so they were unprepared for our arrival. It was eventually sorted out, though. In general, this would be a lovely place to stay in the summer, but in the off-season it was a little isolated.
