Tuna Angling Giant Bluefin Tuna are the ultimate fighting fish. Bluefin can grow as large as 1400 lbs with the Donegal Bay record being a massive 968 lbs. The season runs from August to November with early bookings essential to avoid dissapointment. Enjoy the experience of a lifetime in the quest to land a true giant. Bluefin Tuna are caught on a catch and release basis only.

Shark Angling Blue sharks are found locally from the end of June to September depending on water temperatures. Most adult Blue sharks grow from 6 to 8 feet in length and weigh 100 lbs plus. These fighting fish are caught regularly in Donegal Bay and as with Tuna will be returned alive in the interest of conservation.

Wreck and Reef Angling Take a trip on An Shannen Alainn to fish at Donegal's many wrecks and reefs including Rathlin O Beirne, Inis Murray, Inis Duff, and Glen Head all within 20 minutes of Port. A Rodman 1250, powered by twin 430 hp Volvo engines, cruising at 26 knots, with a top speed of 32 knots, this is the fastest charter vessel available in the North West, designed for stability and safety in all weather conditions.

Fully Licensed and insured for up to 12 anglers and passengers, this boat has the latest navigational, fish finding and safety equipment on board.

The luxurious interior includes spacious seating area, kitchen facilitie including microwave and refrigerator, and toilet facilities on board. Skippered by Michael Molloy, who has 20 years experience in both commercial and sea angling off the North West Coast of Ireland, his aim is to give customer satisfaction and value for money.
