This is an excellent 4 star self catering accommodation located in the Gaeltacht area of Gweedore to the south of Bloodyforeland (Knocfola) in County Donegal.  We are situated right on Cnoc Fola (Bloody Foreland) with unspoilt panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The newly created holiday home has three beautifully appointed bedrooms, designed to captivate the awesome surrounding scenery. The living room is very inviting in the evenings as the glow of a turf fire entices you to sit back and relax.
5 miles north from Bunbeg heading towards Bloodyforeland. Pass Foreland Height Hotel and approx 100 yards further on, on the left hand side is a picnic layby to the right of this layby is a small roadway leading downhill to two houses first of which is holiday cottage.
Double Room with Sea Views
The bedrooms have oil central heating throughout and from the windows you can see the breathtaking panorama of the surrounding countryside.

The master bedroom with en-suite has a patio door leading out to the rear of the cottage which leads on to the patio area where once again you can admire the surround countryside.

The twin room with main bathroom is located opposite, while there is a double room upstairs with shower room.

All showers are power showers. All bedrooms are supplied with hairdryers and TVs with Satellite TV.
Sitting Room
Downstairs is a DVD player and music centre, on this floor is the main dining and living area with patio doors leading out to patio and barbeque area.  The kitchen is fully fitted with all mod-cons, also on ground floor is the utility room. All rooms in the house are elegantly furnished.

There is an outside fire and barbeque area on the patio to take the chill from the evening air while you admire the  views of the spectacular sunsets over the ocean.  There is a wall surrounding the delightful garden.

There are golden beaches(suitable for swimming) within 15 minutes driving distance on either side of the cottage, or for the more rustic beach you can walk to the shore line in front of the cottage.

Both Bunbeg and Derrybeg offer visitors an ideal base from which to explore both Islands, as well as the surrounding countryside. 

The area is extremely well served with a variety of shops selling everything from the essentials to locally produced arts and crafts.

A visit to Tory Island is extremely popular and the harbour is close by where your coastal cruise takes in superb views of the Muchish Mountains Horn Head and a large number of golden beaches and dunes which typify this area.

For any golfing enthusiast, there are both local Gweedore and Cloughaneely golf clubs.  The local Claudy River for the quality of its salmon fishing , there are a number of lakes that offer natural brown Trout fishing.

In the evening there is plenty of local entertainment to suite all tastes and ages.  Local hotels with in house leisure facilities including a swimming pool, a children's pool gymnasium. There are also no shortage of pubs and restaurants in the locality.
Further Afield
The villages of Gweedore, Bunbeg and Derrybeg are so close together that you would think it was just one town. The Rosses and Gweedore scenic drive is one of the best ways to experience this magical and diverse countryside.

In the heart of this Gaelic speaking region is the magnificent Glenveagh National Park – a park full of secret hideaways and scenery for you to discover. Here in Gweedore, the Irish history and culture can be a very different and unique experience. The tranquil informality of this wonderful place lends itself to those of you seeking a restful and relaxing break.
