Golf, pitch&putt, tennis, squash, cinema and dancing. Salmon/ trout fishing is available on nearby rivers and lakes. A leisure centre has a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam pool with plunge pool. Conwal, 3 km/2 miles west of Letterkenny, is the site of an ancient monastery and the burial place of the O'Donnells. Conwal Dun stone fort is said to have been the stronghold of the O'Cannons and there is a large standing stone.
