5th smurfit samhain international poetry festival

Hosted by local poet Cathal O Searcaigh and made world famous by Seamus Heaney.

Poetry competition, concerts, recitals, workshops, art exhibitions and classes. The festival runs in mid November around the 15th to the 19th.

The prizes may be divided by the judges between the best Poem, Limerick or Haiku You can down load application forms & event booking info from http://www.samhainpoetry.com/front.htm.As usual the events will take place in Gortahork, Co. Donegal, which is in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht.

The festival will has nightly recitals, which will include Music Workshops & Masterclasses will take place  on the Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
