The centre is one of the most dynamic and innovative multi-media centres in the British Isles, which is housed in a state of the art building containing a multitude of edit suites, rehearsal, recording studios, in-house animation and film production companies as well as a performance venue, bar, coffee house and art house cinema. Special screenings are provided for children every Tuesday afternoon.

Visitors are also welcome to view the Digital Film Archive which contains 55 hrs of moving images about Northern Ireland (1897-2000). Presentations on the Archive and short drama films in and about Derry are also available to groups on request.
