Running along the River Foyle from the lower deck of Craigavon Bridge towards the Letterkenny Road and border with Donegal this park offers the visitor an opporunity to browse through quiet parkland with scenic views of the city Waterside and the occasional view of the old steam railcar trundling along rail tracks from the nearby Foyle Valley Railway Museum. The museum is free to enter so your walk can begin or end with a visit to days gone by in rail history and memorabilia.
