Mature mixed conifer and broadleaved woodland around a lake. Former estate of Fredrick Harvey, Fourth Earl of Bristol and Bishop of Derry.
Early Christian period promontary fort, and old saw mill and the fattest Sitka Spruce can all be seen in the wood.

There are two walking trails within the wood, the first trail is 1 kilometer long and the other is 2 kilometer long. The walks are ideal for everyone.
Location
Seven miles west of Coleraine on A2.
