The Derry Travelodge is centrally located in the heart of the city with views of the River Foyle. The hotel is situated on Strand Street which is popular for nightlife, restaurants, shopping and only a few minutes walk from Derry City’s many attractions.

Derry has a rich and varied cultural heritage and the City Walls are home to a number of museums, galleries and theatres, as well as thriving musical and literary scenes. Step back in time and relive the city’s past on an inner-city guided walking, bus, cruise boat or taxi tour, where you’ll discover a wealth of history.
 
Derry is one of Ireland's oldest cities and is a wonderful city to stroll around and appreciate its history. It was one of the last cities to be encircled by walls and the only city where the original walls remain intact.

Derry City Travelodge
Coming into Derry from the South (A5), North (A2), Southeast (A6) follow signs for the City Centre and then Tourist Information Centre & coach set down point, you will find the car park on your left hand side and the river Foyle to your right. At the roundabout after the TIC, turn left bringing you to a set of traffic lights with secure car parking is to the right. Level 3 is for use of Travelodge guests. Charges are £8.00 per night from 21.30 until 07.30am. The car park is then £0.80 for every hour outside these times.


If not parking turn right at the traffic lights and the Travelodge is on the right hand side.

Room was directly accross from a late night club so plenty of noise right up to 4am so little sleep as a result. I would request a room at the rear ogf the hotel in future

Hotel was ok. Late check in was a surprise, especially with no desk staff. General issue of confusion with how to use telephones (public) in Ireland. Using area codes etc, seemed like a real mishmash. Meant I couldn't figure out how to contact local friend, very disappointing for me.

The hotel does not have a car park. Secure car parking is to the right of the hotel at Quayside Multi-storey carpark. Level 3 is for use of Travelodge guests. Special rates apply.
