Things to Do

While you’re staying in Bantry, take a trip to the local market held every Friday throughout the year and appreciate the local crafts, foods and warm welcoming people. If your feeling a little bit more energetic then why not discover the beauty of West Cork on foot or on the saddle with a short but sweet guided walking or cycling tour of The Sheep’s Head Way.
The Bantry Bay Golf Club offers golfing enthusiasts a genuinely spectacular and challenging course. Special rates available to Hotel guests. The Ring of Beara is shared by both county Cork and county Kerry and links Glengarrif with Kenmare. Needless to say you can always take a day trip to Killarney or experience the breathtaking vistas and unspoilt landscapes renowned with the Ring of Kerry. Experience sea kayaking in Castletownbere or seal watching in Kenmare – so much to do, so little time. The list of activities is endless!
