We were initially put in smoking room, and it took a bit of cajoling to be moved into a non smoking room. In the end we had to pay for an upgrade, but it all worked out okay in the end
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, I was not impressed with the room though, the toilet was loose, the bathroom door would not shut and the bed was very creaky. I reported the faults but they were not fixed in the two days we staeyed at the hotel.
Rooms are only ok for that kinda money
Especially liked location and beautiful grounds. Fabulous view. Very relaxing.

The staff made us feel very welcome. As a group of girls celebrating a birthday it was nice not to be treated as a group on a hen do.
